Basketball Game Recap: Willowbrook Warriors vs. Hersey Huskies

The Willowbrook Warriors suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They were outmatched by Hersey on the road and fell 54-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Willowbrook has scored all season.

Kendall Medinger was Willowbrook's leading scorer, having posted five points. Tia Kelly held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Willowbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Hersey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

Willowbrook will head out on the road to take on York at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. York is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Hersey, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Elk Grove at 7:30 p.m. Elk Grove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Hersey is ranked 56th).
