Volleyball Recap: Mt. Madonna Takes a Loss

Mt. Madonna lost against St. Francis back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Sharks. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hawks have suffered against the Sharks since October 11, 2016.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-15.

Mt. Madonna's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Mt. Madonna will challenge More at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis, they will face off against North Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
