Softball Preview: South Side Rams vs. McGuffey Highlanders

The South Side Rams will head out to challenge the McGuffey Highlanders at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. South Side is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

The victory made it two in a row for McGuffey and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for South Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Both South Side and McGuffey just can't seem to miss. The Rams have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.7 hits per game. However, it's not like McGuffey struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
