Kingston and Grandview are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Kingston and six for Grandview.

On Thursday, Kingston came up short against West County and fell 3-1.

Kingston actually scored more points across those four sets (88-86), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 11-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Grandview also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Valley by a score of 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-28, 25-19, 25-5.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Kingston beat Grandview 3-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
