Baldwin-Woodville and Osceola are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Blackhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chieftains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Baldwin-Woodville sitting on seven straight victories and Osceola on five.

Meanwhile, Osceola won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Amery 36-35. Given the Chieftains' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Warriors are ranked 130th) , the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Baldwin-Woodville, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Baldwin-Woodville against Osceola when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-7 victory. Will the Blackhawks repeat their success, or do the Chieftains have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
