Bagdad stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Antelope Rams a 10-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Bagdad sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Kiah Morris was incredible, going 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Briah Williams, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
On Antelope's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marissa Jimenez, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.
Bagdad has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3-1 record this season. As for Antelope, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-6.
