Softball Recap: Central Aroostook's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

After flying high against Southern Aroostook on Monday, Central Aroostook came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Ashland Hornets on Tuesday, falling 17-7. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Aroostook fell to 9-1. As for Ashland, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Aroostook will square off against Washburn at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ashland, they will take on Hodgdon at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
