Baseball Recap: Montclair Takes a Loss

Montclair was the 5-1 winner over Morris Knolls when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mounties took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles on Saturday.

Montclair has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13-1 record this season. As for Morris Knolls, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montclair will face off against Millburn at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Morris Knolls, they will take on Randolph at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
