Mapleton extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Lucie Burruss. The Sailors simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Triangle Lake Lakers 58-16 for which the team can thank Burruss, who shot 48% from the field to rack up 28 points and eight steals. The matchup was her tenth in a row with at least 15 points.
Kaylee Campbell was another key player, putting up two points in addition to five assists and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Mapleton's record is now 8-5. As for Triangle Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
