Rowe lost against McAllen back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rowe Warriors fell 58-50 to the McAllen Bulldogs. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Judah Rios had a dynamite game for McAllen, going 7 for 10 on his way to 21 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave Rios a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of D'Aundre Canada, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.

Rowe's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-8. As for McAllen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Rowe and McAllen should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Rowe (ranked 320th) will meet Sharyland (ranked 1060th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rowe is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, McAllen will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 1,196 places (366 vs. 1562).
