Basketball Game Preview: Rockford Rams vs. Heritage Hawks

Rockford picked up another tournament win on Friday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 62-35 victory over Mona Shores. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 27 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Heritage was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Carman-Ainsworth 75-41. The Hawks are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 17th contest they've won by 20+ points this season.

Heritage's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.9 points. As for Rockford, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.

Everything came up roses for Rockford against Heritage when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as the team secured a 51-23 win. Will Rockford repeat their success, or does Heritage have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
