EF Academy waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They snuck past the Marvelwood Pterodactyls with a 30-26 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-18 last Friday.

EF Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ayano Oki led the charge by putting up 11 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals. Oki is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Victoria Bukowska, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

EF Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

EF Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for Marvelwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

EF Academy has already played their next game, a 32-11 win against Oakwood Friends on the 29th. Marvelwood has also already played their next contest (against American School for the Deaf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
