Scotts Valley lost 38-13 to Aptos on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Santa Cruz took on San Lorenzo Valley on Wednesday. The Cardinals breezed past the Cougars to the tune of 51-0. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got Santa Cruz back to even at 6-6. As for Scotts Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Scotts Valley came up short against Santa Cruz in their previous meeting back in September, falling 13-0. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
