Softball Recap: Williamsburg Wildcats vs. Georgetown G-Men

In what's become a running theme this season, Williamsburg gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Georgetown G-Men a 13-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Williamsburg also won the last time the pair played back in March.

Madi Speeg made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over five innings pitched. Speeg has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances. Speeg was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kaityln Pollitt was incredible, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. Julia Johnson was another key contributor, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, a stolen base, and a run.
