Baseball Recap: Havelock Comes Up Short

Havelock was the 6-3 winner over Dixon when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Havelock Rams came up short against the Dixon Bulldogs on Friday, falling 11-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Havelock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Champion, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Those stolen bases marked the first that Champion snagged this season.

Havelock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dixon, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, Havelock and Dixon will both be playing Jacksonville the next time they take the field. Havelock will head out to face Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Dixon will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
