Brookfield Academy won the last time they faced Catholic Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blue Knights skirted past the Hilltoppers 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-101) Brookfield Academy actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Despite the defeat, Catholic Central saw an underclassman step up: freshman Leah Kucera had ten digs and two aces. Tatum Bero also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Brookfield Academy pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-22.

Coming up, Brookfield Academy will challenge Kenosha Christian Life on Friday. As for Catholic Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Williams Bay at 6:45 p.m. The Hilltoppers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
