You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Franklin Academy on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Falls Lake Firebirds out of the water with a 69-28 final score. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Franklin Academy was led to victory by Hayes Lewis and Jaden Lewis. Hayes went 7 of 10 en route to 22 points and five boards, while Jaden went 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points and three steals. That's the most points Jaden has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Rutledge, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Franklin Academy pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Falls Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Academy will venture away from home to challenge NCSSM: Durham at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
