Clovis West and Central East faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Bengals with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Golden Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bengals, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Clovis West was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-12, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clovis West to victory, but perhaps none more so than Eve Dixon, who had 16 assists and six digs. Courtlin Pulliam was another key player, getting four digs and four aces.

Clovis West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Central East, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-18.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clovis West will take on rival Clovis East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central East is set to challenge their familiar foe Clovis North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
