Volleyball Recap: Strom Thurmond Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Strom Thurmond was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Saluda on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels came up short against the Ninety Six Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-6.

Leigh Anne Strock paced Strom Thurmond's offense, picking up six kills. Strock got some help from Blaire Ball and her 11 assists. Mollie Bartley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Strom Thurmond's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-7. As for Ninety Six, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
