Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Somerset Academy - Canyons walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Aubrey Rogers Patriots on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 16 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Aubrey Rogers with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noelle Simmons (2), Alexia Hansen, and Addyson McCleary.

The victory (which was Somerset Academy - Canyons' seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those seven contests. As for Aubrey Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Somerset Academy - Canyons will take on Bishop Verot at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
