Baseball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 7-0 to the Bradford Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 back in March.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bradford, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augusta will challenge Clarendon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bradford, they will take on Concord at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
