Basketball Game Preview: Whitmore Lake Trojans vs. East Jackson Trojans

The Whitmore Lake Trojans will head out to square off against the East Jackson Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitmore Lake will be strutting in after a win while East Jackson will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Whitmore Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Parkway Christian, taking the game 46-36. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, East Jackson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 46-42 to Hanover-Horton. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitmore Lake's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for East Jackson, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Whitmore Lake took a serious blow against East Jackson when the teams last played back in December of 2017, falling 55-23. Can Whitmore Lake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
