Softball Recap: Millbrook Comes Up Short

Millbrook lost against Tuscarora back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pioneers fell 6-1 to the Huskies. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Millbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Tuscarora, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millbrook will venture away from home to take on James Wood at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Colonels' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Pioneers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tuscarora, they will head out on the road to face off against Loudoun Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
