Rogers is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Muskogee. The Mountaineers blew past the Roughers 47-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.

Rogers has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 9 points this season. As for Muskogee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Rogers will welcome Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Muskogee, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ponca City at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
