While Marietta's win against Shenandoah wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Zeps on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Zeps: they've now won three in a row.

The victory got Marietta back to even at 8-8-1. As for Shenandoah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, Marietta will square off against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shenandoah, they will take on Bishop Rosecrans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
