Basketball Recap: Algoma Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Algoma waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Oconto Blue Devils with a 61-56 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Algoma's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for Oconto, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Algoma and Peshtigo will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peshtigo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Algoma likes a good challenge. As for Oconto, they will take on Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
