It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Monroe Area had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Pickens Dragons with a sharp 35-13 win. Considering the Purple Hurricanes have won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Jitt Carr, who rushed for 159 yards and one score while picking up 8.8 yards per carry.
