Sabetha is 8-2 against Holton since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Sabetha Bluejays will challenge the Holton Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sabetha has three straight victories, Holton has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Monday, everything went Sabetha's way against Hiawatha as Sabetha made off with a 63-38 win.

Meanwhile, Holton came up short against Osage City on Monday and fell 60-53. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly seven points.

Sabetha will need to focus on slowing down Brayden Peek, one of several Holton players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7-for-15 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks. Peek is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bodie Dillon, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 18 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.

Even though they lost, Holton was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Sabetha's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Holton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Sabetha strolled past Holton in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 53-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sabetha since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
