North Broward Prep takes down Mater Lakes Academy in a playoff battle

With a playoff game on the line, the North Broward Prep Eagles rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Bears onto the board and left with a 5-0 win. North Broward Prep might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 13 matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit Mater Lakes Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sumayah Brown (2), Jayda Palumbo, Isabella Cancelier, and Ella Munoz.

The win was the fifth in a row for North Broward Prep, bringing their record for this year to 16-1-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Mater Lakes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-2.

North Broward Prep will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Cardinal Gibbons at 5:00 p.m. Cardinal Gibbons has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 17 goals over their last three games. Mater Lakes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
