Curry barely beat Hewitt-Trussville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets blew past the Huskies 18-3 on Monday. Considering the Yellowjackets have won 26 matches by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Skiely Perry tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Shileigh Williams was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Ambrey Taylor was another key player, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
