Volleyball Game Preview: St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays vs. Church Point Bears

The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays will challenge the Church Point Bears at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. St. Edmund is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

St. Edmund lost 3-0 to Iota on Thursday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Church Point, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Washington-Marion on Wednesday.

While Church Point won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-18.

Church Point's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for St. Edmund, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

St. Edmund beat Church Point 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Fighting Blue Jays repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
