Soccer Recap: Rock Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Northwestern last Tuesday, Rock Hill came back down to earth. Rock Hill lost 4-0 to the Catawba Ridge Copperheads on Friday. Rock Hill haven't had much luck with Catawba Ridge recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Catawba Ridge, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Rock Hill will welcome Andrew Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Catawba Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 victory against Padua Academy on the 29th.
