Basketball Recap: West Point Has No Trouble Against Noxubee County

West Point won the last time they faced Noxubee County and things went their way on Saturday too. The West Point Green Wave were the clear victor by a 40-17 margin over the Noxubee County Tigers.

West Point has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-17 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Noxubee County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Point will be taking part in a tournament against Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something West Point surely won't give up without a fight. As for Noxubee County, they will face off against McLaurin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Noxubee County is facing McLaurin at the right time seeing as McLaurin is stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
