Recap: Apalachee Wildcats vs. North Forsyth Raiders
This season hasn't been kind to The Apalachee Wildcats, who are still winless after their tenth contest. They were dealt a 42-13 loss at the hands of North Forsyth on Friday. Apalachee was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.
Although Apalachee took the loss, they still got scores from Bowen Woodall and Colin Eishen.
Among those leading the charge was Elijah Seaney, who threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns. Walker Roberts was another key contributor, picking up 49 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Apalachee's defeat was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.9 points per game. As for North Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 5-5.
Apalachee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Forsyth will head out on the road to face off against Langston Hughes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Langston Hughes is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
