Baseball Recap: Early Comes Up Short

New Covenant Academy hit Early with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers lost 12-1 to the Warriors. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Early saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Pellham, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Early's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for New Covenant Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Early will take on Weaubleau at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Covenant Academy, they will head out to square off against Billings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
