Volleyball Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Addenbrooke Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kennedy Commanders.

Corbin Burge paced Addenbrooke Classical Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Burge got some help from Caedmon Summers and his nine assists. Burge also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Malachi Torrez, racking up two apiece.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Kennedy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against DSST: Cedar on the 26th. As for Kennedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against KIPP Denver Collegiate on the 26th.
