Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Crete-Monee

Crete-Monee entered their tilt with Thornridge on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Falcons 23-6. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Taleeana Ramirez was incredible, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Raechel Lindsay was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Crete-Monee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Crete-Monee's record now sits at 10-14. As for Thornridge, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Crete-Monee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
