Basketball Recap: Klondike Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dawson last Friday, Klondike came back down to earth. The Klondike Cougars received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 61-44 to the Grady Wildcats. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 58-46.

Klondike's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 16-5. As for Grady, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Klondike wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-55 victory against Sands on the 7th. As for Grady, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-42 loss against Loop on the 7th.
