Soccer Recap: Mainland Regional Comes Up Short

Mainland Regional and Moorestown squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Mainland Regional had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mainland Regional of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2020.

Mainland Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Moorestown, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

As of now, neither Mainland Regional nor the Quakers have any future games scheduled.
