Football Recap: Brock Eagles vs. Decatur Eagles
Brock took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against Decatur as they made off with a 52-31 victory. That's more bragging rights for Brock, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Holt Frazier, who threw for 194 yards and four TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground. Bryer Mcdonald was in the mix as well, providing Brock with two touchdowns.
Decatur lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jamari Fletcher, who rushed for 97 yards and one score on only eight carries. Rhys Ragan was another key signal caller, throwing for 210 yards and a pair of TDs.
Brock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-7 win against Lake Worth on the 5th. As for Decatur, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
