Football Recap: Hartford Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against West Bend East last Friday, Hartford came back down to earth. The Orioles fell just short of the West Bend West Spartans by a score of 16-14 on Friday. The contest marked the Orioles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Logan Laufenberg threw for 133 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Ethan Webb was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

Colton Steinmetz was nothing short of spectacular for West Bend West: he rushed for 194 yards and two scores.

Hartford's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Bend West, their record now sits at 4-1.

Coming up, Hartford will take on Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Orioles will need to watch out since the Highlanders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for West Bend West, they will head out to face off against Nicolet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
