Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 56-30 to the P.K. Yonge Blue Wave. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-14 back in December of 2024.

P.K. Yonge found their leader in sophomore Matilda Parrish, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 boards gave Parrish a new career-high. Jada Adderly was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for P.K. Yonge, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Fe has already played their next match (against Branford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. P.K. Yonge has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Godby.
