Nazareth Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Zurich, sneaking past 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Roadrunners have posted since September 19th.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fenwick). They blew past Central 49-21 on Saturday. Considering the Friars have won eight matchups by more than 25 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Fenwick's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Nazareth Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Nazareth Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Fenwick when the teams last played back in September of 2023, winning 26-16.
