Softball Recap: Greer Takes a Loss

Greer lost against Seneca back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to the Bobcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Yellow Jackets just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Greer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adison Howard, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Greer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Seneca, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Greer will take on Daniel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seneca, they will square off against Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Flame's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
