Baseball Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to the Pioneer Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Tuesday.

Aaron Victoria was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Pioneer, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Coming up, Whitney will venture away from home to square off against Western at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a 19-game losing streak. As for Pioneer, they will face off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
