After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, T.R. Miller brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let Monroe County get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. Considering T.R. Miller has won four matchups by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Kylie Walton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Meg Fountain was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-2. Those home runs were her first of the season. Kate Rambach was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, four RBI, and one run.
