Volleyball Recap: Grove Christian School Falls Short Against Ranked Denbigh Baptist Christian

Grove Christian School faced Denbigh Baptist Christian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grove Christian School fell to 2-1. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Grove Christian School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against James River HomeSchool on the 23rd. As for Denbigh Baptist Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Brunswick Academy on the 23rd.
