The Burns Bulldogs fell 69-61 to the Shelby Golden Lions on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Golden Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 69-51 defeat last Friday.

Tye Clay and Colby Putnam certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Clay en route to 24 points, while Putnam to rack up 17 points and four steals. Clay's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Marshall McGowan, who posted four points and five assists.
