Volleyball Recap: Somerset Academy - Canyons Comes Up Short

After flying high against Royal Palm Beach last Wednesday, Somerset Academy - Canyons came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Atlantic Christian Sharks on Thursday, falling 3-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Sharks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Somerset Academy - Canyons was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-23.

Somerset Academy - Canyons' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Atlantic Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Somerset Academy - Canyons will take on Lake Worth Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Atlantic Christian, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against King's Academy on the 11th.
