Volleyball Recap: Webster's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday + How To Watch

Webster and Roncalli squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Webster had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Mallory Steiner paced Webster's offense, picking up 12 kills. Steiner got some help from Chloe Mammenga and her 25 assists. Madison Block controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The loss snapped Webster's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-10 record. As for Roncalli, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Webster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roncalli, they will take on Clark/Willow Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
